Pete Traynor

Strength and Conditioning, Urbandale Community Schools

Pete will speak on best practices and how to apply them to your program needs. Pete played football at Iowa and for the Green Bay Packers, and worked with Iowa S&C coach Chris Doyle. He is currently the only full time strength and conditioning coach at a midwest high school.

 

Korey Van Wyk

Northwestern College

Korey earned a bachelor’s degree in strength and conditioning from Central College in Pella, IA and a master’s in nutrition and exercise from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. During his time at UNL, he assisted the sports nutrition staff with implementing nutrition strategies for all athletes and served as a teaching assistant for the nutrition department. He is currently a Professor of Practice at Northwestern College where he teaches classes in nutrition, strength & conditioning, personal training, motor learning, and anatomy and serves as the strength & conditioning coach for football, wrestling, soccer, cheer, and dance.
