The IAYRA seasons will feature tackle rugby divisions.  Every tackle rugby team must hold no less than 2 hours of practice per week directed by a Licensed coach who has met the IAYRA League Coaching Requirements.  Any team that does not have access to appropriate coaching will automatically be moved into a non-contact or JV division.

 

Any student may set up a team at his or her school.  At a minimum, every team must have (i) an adult coordinator (i.e. parent, guardian, or responsible adult) and (ii) a faculty representative.  After submitting the contact details for these individuals into the form below (currently being redeveloped, use the Contact Us! link), the IAYRA will (i) confirm that each individual meets league requirements, (ii) register the team and assign it to an appropriate conference, and (iii) work to secure an appropriate coach if the team wants to play tackle rugby.
